The Prince's Gambit Open Playtest

Join us on Saturday the 9th at 1 PM for a public play test of the upcoming Onyx Path game "The Prince's Gambit.

The Onyx Path are well known publishers of the Worlds of Darkness, Exalted, The Scarred Lands, and others.

This new game is a card based strategy and logic game where 6 players join together as vampires trying to support the city's Prince and their goals.However, two are Sabbat and out to foil the actions of the others, and bring the city down. Covertness and trickery are necessary tools of all the vampires at the table.

The Prince’s Gambit is a social deduction game. The intent of the system is for each player’s action or presence to share some amount of information, but to leave a great degree of ambiguity. It’s not purely a logic puzzle, like Clue, it’s more like being caught with your hand in the cookie jar and then convincing your mom that it’s actually your little brother’s fault.

The goal of this play test will be to run through a few games with the rules that are currently available, and put together impressions and feedback that may be incorporated into the final release.

We will run one table for every 6 players that sign up. If we do not have enough players for both tables we will rotate players out between games.
