Talks : Online Payments

We're going to try a new set of events titled "Talks" that take a deeper look at a specific technology or topic. These events will run in the early evening 6 - 7pm, at The Generator on Dix's field.

The first event will focus on the intricacies of taking payments online, the gotchas to look out for in different scenarios and common pitfalls. We'll also look at some of the new alternatives to traditional providers and the ease of integration.

Some of the ares we'll cover:

• Reoccurring payments
• Shopping carts
• international payments
• merchant accounts vs. non-merchant accounts
• GBP vs. foreign currency payments

We'll be open from 5:30 and looking to start at 6. You're also welcome to spend the day, or part of it working from The Generator if that suits.
