A concept that is popular in English speaking countries is starting to manifest itself in other parts of the world.

The current economic climate, people wanting to share or re-use items – with the added bonus of networking and making some money are the key to this movement.

The Expatica Swap-Shop provides a setting to allow Internationals to meet, sell, or swap items that they no longer need. These gatherings can be simple or more formal, with possibly a specialist coming in to offer guidance or purchase items e.g. a gold smith.

For the Expaticans, they get an opportunity to meet each other, share items and possibly make some money! This group is for fun and it is not intended to be a commercial enterprise.

Great place to move those last few items you do not want to take on your next move. For big items - bring a photo please.
