Tess is 4 years old, a rescue border collie/springer spaniel cross. She is very good natured with people and our cats but is a bit nervous of other dogs. Part of her wants to make friends and part of her sometimes growls if dogs come right up to her. At her training class we wear the yellow ribbon. She is not at all aggressive, just scared, and I was wondering if you felt your group would be suitable if I kept her on the lead and walked at a slight distance, to help her get used to other dogs. Soon I hope she'll be off lead and bounding around with the best of them! Could you let me know if this would be ok?

Hi I have a border collie/springer spaniel cross called Tess, a 4 year old rescue. She is great with people but gets nervous around other dogs. I'm hoping to socialise her and also make some new friends.
Excellent. My dog, Tess, and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Everyone was really friendly. Despite being a nervous dog, Tess soon relaxed at the back of the group and seemed to quite enjoy her limited interaction with the other dogs. Thank you -will be back again!
