This is a great local water park that is very nice (been around since 1928!). Costs $15.00 each. They have 22 grills. We can bring coolers and actually grill if we want.

We'll meet at 10 am outside the park. We can all swim for 45 minutes, and then I, the organizer, will start up the grill so we can stop swimming at 11:30 pm and eat some burgers, or, if you prefer, you can BYO picnic. We'll organize those details nearer to the time of the meetup.

Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, cash or V/M/Discover for entrance, and perhaps your own picnic or snacks. Do not bring alcoholic beverages, please. It's a family destination. No glass bottles, either. Conservative swimsuits, please. Bikini's okay, thongs not. Sorry.

THANKS TO DONNA COOK for telling us about Willow Springs still being around. I knew about it in the 1980's, but haven't been back in ummm, well, just under 30 years! Sheesh, I'm getting old! Or wow, I was young then. In any case, Donna says the swimming area is sandy, they keep it all clean, and it's a fun place to be! Let's give it a go!
