Photograph The Red 'SuperMoon' & Eclipse at Twilight
This month's full moon is not only the closest and largest full moon of the year; it's also the moon’s closest encounter with Earth for all of 2015 - and being eclipsed red.
In a word, it'll be a big one, a super moon, and this is your chance to get beautifully composed, well exposed shots because sunset is hours after moonrise on the 27th.
‘Super moons’ not only appear larger because they're physically closer but, combined with a full moon, the mind can play tricks on you to think they're even larger. This is called the "Moon Illusion". Try to catch these full moons as they rise/set because the illusion works when there's an object in the foreground, like a tree, rocks, buildings etc...

From our various vantage points (Our exact locations given to RSVP's) we'll have a great variety of scenes to frame the rising moon over the water; foreground architecture, rocks, sand & trees. Great compositions & unobstructed views for moonrise at 6:56pm @ 89 deg (100 deg compass), with our sunset at exactly the same time. Saturn will be up in the SW as well.
