Engine Summit 2012 - LA+SD

May 2012 is going to be the best ExpressionEngine Meetup of all time!

Have we got something amazing for you this month. Thanks to PBS SoCal, we are pulling together the San Diego EE Meetup and the Los Angeles EE Meetup groups once again for Engine Summit 2012! A full day of ExpressionEngine learning and fun!

Thanks to PBS SoCal and our own meetup sponsors, this year’s Engine Summit cost is FREE!

Individual tickets are normally $180 dollars each, but who wants to sit at home alone when you could come win some shwag, save your taco money and hang out with some great EE folks? Since there is no cost to you, and thanks to PBS SoCal’s amazing generosity, we would love you to make donations to PBS SoCal, it would be a wonderful way to say thank you. This year is packed full of amazing prizes including though, not limited to:

This year we will be in a much larger room though, space is limited to only 25 spots (13 LA - 12 SD). With that said, please make sure to RSVP as you don’t want to miss out on this one! Last year everyone had a really great time and this year it’s looking like it will be even more exciting. But please only RSVP if you really plan on attending. We’ll have the waiting list open as well and this will be first come first serve.

The show starts at 7am sharp on May the 29th, so make sure to grab a coffee and get there early. PBS So Cal will have breakfast on hand so don’t eat first! Lunch will be provided by Mijingo and also the great team over at EngineHosting.

EngineSummit was awesome this year. PBSSoCal was an awesome host and gave us a tour of their studio which was amazing! Great group of folks from LA, OC, and SD. Really enjoyed myself. An all around good time!

What a great day! Lots of learning, web talk, ExpressionEngine talk and general good times. PBS SoCal was fantastic, the space was perfect. We got a chance to walk through the PBS TV studios too. Ended the day with drinks at Karl Strauss. So good.

I would definitely go, but have a meeting here in Pasadena in the afternoon. It looks like I won't miss too much if I were to leave early. However I don't want to take someone else's spot. If there is space at the end of the RSVP time would it be ok if I were come even if I have to leave early? Or I can look into Skyping into the meeting here...hmmmmm.

I'll be carpooling with Jeremy James from Manhattan Beach. I have room for two more people if anyone is interested.
