More exemplary code. Please bring along with you some examples of great code that we can put up on the big screen screen. We'd like to hear  from you what you like about it that you'd like to see in other applications

Andy Longshaw and Paul Dyson joined over Hangout. Some feedback was: - The video was good but the sound at my end was a bit boomy apart from you and the speaker. Made it difficult to follow the discussion.
Rachel: we can possible arrange a hand-held mic for audience questions

    - obviously couldn't see the screen. I notice that there is an option on hangout to "present to everyone". I wonder if the presenter could join the hangout and do this?
Rachel: this is a bit of a pain as it requires presenters who often prefer to use their own laptop to sign-into Hangout too.

    - how best can we hold up a hand remotely? Could you see the chat window? Maybe remote people could type MEEE!!!! in the chat window :-)
Rachel: Waving works. Most of the time we could see your face on a massive TV sceen (see photos that I upload shortly)

Hi Rachel, over here for Boston Ruby, we've been experimenting with having the presenter join the hangout and then record sound from their machine. Works OK. YMMV if the speaker walks around.

When it comes to that thing that sits between words and the computery stuff, here is one way to set it up: https://skillsmatter.com/skillscasts/3955-the-impersonator-pattern (plus http://www.ecomba.org/post/47130417597/the-impersonator-pattern-redux-getting-rid-of-the)
