FINE provides the opportunity for business owners, independent professionals, entreprenuers and those in transition to meet new people, make business connections and to hear and discuss topics of current interest.

FINE was formed in 1993 by a small group of people who left the corporate world and wanted a place to network and provide support to each other as they ventured out in the world of entrepreneurship.

FINE meets at the Westport Country Playhouse on the third Thursday of the month from 9AM to 11AM.

Attendance averages around 35, although we did have 64 at the meeting when the subject was LinkedIn and we had Jan Wallen, author of "Mastering LinkedIn in 7 Days or Less", as our speaker.

Meetings begin with networking, a welcome, each attendee giving a thirty second introduction, followed by the featured speaker and then the opportunity to do more networking. Meetings are open to all and a small donation (five dollars) is requested to cover expenses.

Attendees come from towns and cities throughout Fairfield County, CT, including Westport, Weston, Wilton, Norwalk, Stamford, New Canaan, Darien, Fairfield, Shelton, Trumbull, Bridgeport and Stratford.
