In our first talk of the evening, Adam Granicz of IntelliFactory will be highlighting some of the new features in the upcoming release of WebSharper 2.0 (https://www.intellifactory.com/products/wsp/Home.aspx), a web development framework for F#.

This will be followed by a talk by Can Erten (https://www.codingday.com) on backtracking in F#. Backtracking is a technique used in optimisation tasks and problem solving. There will be samples for computational problems like travelling salesman or n queens. Different techniques and styles of programming in F# will be shown. Can Erten is a software developer working in game industry developing applications for a multi-player gaming platform. He became interested in F# while doing masters and soon after that he contributed to the development of the language at Microsoft Research during an internship. He has been working in .NET platform since 2001 delivering business applications and services for other developers.
