Pacman Kata

Pacman finds himself in a grid filled with monsters. Will he be able to eat all the dots on the board before the monsters eat him?

  • pacman is on a grid filled with dots
  • pacman eats dots
  • pacman stops on walls
  • ghosts follow pacman...

Lets start the new year with a hands-on coding Kata by implementing Pacman. Suitable for people new to F# who'd like to learn more and for more experienced F# developers looking to practice their skills.

We'll start with a maze and some graphics running inside Visual Studio or the browser using http://tryfsharp.org and targeting WPF, Silverlight and HTML/JavaScript.

Please bring a laptop if you can, if not don't worry we'll work in teams.

Visiting from California, looking forward to meeting with the F# community from the other side of the Atlantic! And to help Pacman survive against the ghosts of course.
