Our screening of Mass Effect is next week! Our special guests will be Eric Vale - voice of Essex, Chris Moujaes - Executive Producer, and April Bennett - Supervising Producer. All three guests will be participating in a Q&A following the screening. Eric Vale will be available for autographs following the Q&A.
We'll also have a table set up during the autographs where you can pre-order Mass Effect on Amazon, which will be available on December 28, 2012.
If you are on the Yes List and you know that you will no longer be attending, please update your RSVP as soon as possible. It's a big help to those that are on the waiting list.
If you are on the Waiting List, you still have a very good chance of getting in. No screening has ever filled up completely.
If you are on the Yes List, please do not add people to your RSVP. You will get bumped off and put on to the Waiting List. It is better if your new guests RSVP on their own.
If you are on the Yes List and have not arrived by 7:00 p.m., your ticket will be given to someone on the Waiting List. If you are on the Waiting List and have not arrived by 7:00 p.m., your ticket will be given to a walk-in.
If you will be late, please email me before 4:00 p.m., so I know to hold on to your ticket. However, I will only hold tickets until 8:00 p.m.
Picking up Tickets:
If this is your first time attending a FUNimation at the Movies screening, here is how it goes: We'll have a FUNimation table in the front of the lobby. Please tell the attendant (probably me) your Meetup username. If you signed up for Meetup using Facebook, it should be your name. I will then give you your tickets. After you have your tickets, the attendant will tell you where to go. Please make sure before RSVP's close at 3:00 p.m. today that your name is on the list. We've had a few people mysteriously get bumped off in the past.
We have had complaints in the past about the noise level in the theater during the screening. Please treat this event like any other movie screening. You can probably get away with commenting during the opening and ending credits of each episode, but please don't talk during the main content. If you are reported to me, you will receive a warning. If you are reported again, you will be asked to leave.
I haven't received any complaints since our June screening, so thank you for understanding. ^_^
That's it! See you all next week!
