Hello FabLab'ers,
We are going to have the first meeting of the new year at the CERC (http://cm.be.washington.edu/sites/default/files/CM_Images/Vertical%20Overview%20and%202%20floors_Page_1.jpg)(Center for Education and Research in Construction (http://cm.be.washington.edu/content/center-education-and-research-construction)) thanks to the University of Washington.

At this meeting we are going to discuss the year ahead, our goals, mission, and events. We will also be holding regular "Pitch Nights" as well as "PechaKucha (http://www.pechakucha.org/)" style presentations (20 slides every 20 seconds).
If you are interested in presenting in the "PechaKucha" style for the is meeting, send us a message. Topics can be problems you have worked on and the solution you developed, equipment, processes, or anything you think the FabLab group would gain something from.
If you are interested making a pitch for something that you are working on please send us a message. Each person who is pitching their idea will have roughly 5 minutes.
In the future we will also have education and training events. If you have some topics you would like more education about please let us know. If you are an expert in some field and have an idea for lecture or series of lectures/training classes, let me know, and bring your ideas to this meeting.
We will also be looking for spaces to host future MeetUp's, training/education, and networking events so if you have ideas for a good location that we can have events at please feel free to share them.
