A game of galactic conquest, previous experience required.

GAME TIMERS in effect for players, we'll discuss how we should use them at the game.

Cancellations without a doctors note shall be met with mandatory disintegration. :P

10 Month old puppy is here give you hugz/attacks! Do not feed the puppy, or leave things on the floor where they WILL get chomped on! ;)

=-=

Lots of street parking. As for anyone using transit, it's pretty good, a non-inclusive list has the following;

[masked] are 1 block away

10 72/73 414 are 5 blocks away

Many of those buses can be caught at the Lions Park or Sunnyside LRT as well.

    Good game of Ti3, I blame the Tequila for my loss. :P

    (any excuse will do lol)

    Tight game, well played. :)

    I also blame Tequila for making me think that starting a 4 player game of Through The Ages at 9pm was a good idea. heh Fun all around though, next time I need bigger shrimp to BBQ, those were a bit tiny. ;)

    Thank you for the Tequila Dave, sad that your luck was so absolutely horrible with the dice that game. =)

    I am on my way, but couldn't find my keys when I was leaving. I'll be a little late, shocking, I know.

    On the topic of galaxy setup, how does this sound;

    4 Ring Galaxy - 8 Players (60 Systems - Preset Centre; 5 Systems)

    Each player has 6 Tiles randomly placed around their home (half will extend into an extra ring), including; 1 Hazard, 2 Low Value Planet(s), 1 High Value Planet(s), and 2 Empty. Choose one of the empty systems and one of the planet systems and remove it. Then add a stack of tiles to them; 1 Hazard, 1 Random Planet, 1 Random System.

    Starting with the first player fill in the spaces from the centre out as per normal setup.

    This will help with more balanced galaxies, especially around home systems, and of course give a tiny bit more breathing room since there would be an extra partial ring.

    Thoughts?

      Not putting them there is what caused the open space in front of the first two players home worlds last game because by the time it got back to us to place again everything was filled by the other players thus leaving that swath of empty space that no one else experienced! The centre 7 have to be pre-determined then everyone is equal when placing on the next ring... Fill it with red or just two random tiles, doesn't matter to me.

      5/7 of the center was filled in that game, I agree that filling them all is good.

      Several of us do, you can usually play it on Monday nights at the Sentry Box, lots of interest for that there. :)

    It's been a long while since I've played TI (3-4 years?), so I am likely a little rusty...not that I was overly good to begin with. Would it cool for my rusty-ass self to take part in this galactic conquest?

      Hi Randy, the rules are here; http://www.fantasyfli...

      Have a look at them so we don't have to go over the basics too much and we should be just fine from there. :)

    I'm not 100% sure I'll have these printed in time, but here are some new strategy cards (comments encouraged- either here or on BGG);
