I-Liq Chuan (roughly translated as "The Martial Art of Awareness") is an art of cultivating concentration and awareness based on Tai Chi and Zen principles of non-assertions, non-resistance, harmony of yin and yang, oneness, and the present moment.
I Liq Chuan (pronounced ee lee chen) is an internal style of Chinese Martial Arts. Tai Chi is the best known and most popular style of the internal arts.
Like Tai Chi, I Liq Chuan can be very effective in promoting health, relaxation and developing a calm state of mind. However, unlike most schools of Tai Chi being practiced today, I Liq Chuan is also a very effective fighting art which can be trained for self defense.
