As a family with two working parents, we often felt like we were missing out out playdates/meet-up groups/events for our kids because they were, more often than not, scheduled for weekdays. We couldn't find anything for the weekends... This group is for everyone who wants cool, fun, kid stuff to do on weekends with cool, fun families. The events will be geared towards kids 2 - 7... but everyone is always welcome.

This is a no-pressure group.  You don't have to come to a certain number of events a month to be a member... you don't have to be a stay-at-home-mom or a stay-at-home-dad or a working-mom or a working-dad ... OTP, ITP - doesn't matter....  The only two requirements are:

1. You have at least one child (or are bringing a child or will be with a family at the event who has a child (or children)

and

2. You and your kids are nice.

That's it.  

I'll put as many events as I have found on the calendar... it doesn't mean our family will actually be going to all of them (although we will go to many) but I'll least get stuff out there for everyone to choose from.
