Dinosaur Birthday Bash Weekend

A birthday party for Dinosaurs...

We plan on getting there right for when the doors open... these events can get pretty crowded the later you go.

Here is the schedule for Sunday:

Dinosaur Party Games
Noon-4pm, Great Hall
Enjoy a variety of traditional birthday party games with a dinosaur theme.

Birthday Ice Cream, courtesy of Bruster’s Real Ice Cream**
Starting at Noon and available while supplies last, Great Hall
Treat yourself to free ice cream provided by Bruster’s Real Ice Cream (Toco Hill and Decatur locations). Limited quantities. One scoop per person.

Birthday Hat Craft
Noon-4pm, Great Hall
What’s a birthday party without a whimsical hat? Create a special 10th anniversary hat of your very own.

Dinosaur Photo Opportunities
Noon-4pm, Great Hall
Bring your camera for a variety of special dinosaur photo opportunities around the Museum, including pictures in front of the Lophorhothons in the Dinosaur Entrance Plaza , in front of a Giganotosaurus skull and more.

Dinosaur Tattoos
Noon-4pm, Great Hall
Show your love of dinosaurs with whimsical (and washable) temporary tattoos.

Museum Store Sidewalk Sale
Noon-5pm, Main Store (Entry Level)
Don’t miss the opportunity to find great deals at the Museum Store during this annual sale.

Georgia Bubbleman
Noon-3pm, Dinosaur Entrance Plaza
Enjoy an interactive demonstration with bubbles of all sizes, including bubbles inside other bubbles and bubbles ranging from tiny to some as big as the juvenile Lophorhothon in the Dinosaur Entrance Plaza .

Dr. Dinosaur Puppet Show by Lee Bryan, “That Puppet Guy"
1pm, 2pm, 3pm, Auditorium
Join Dr. Dinosaur on an exciting prehistoric expedition. (Limited seating; shows are approximately 20 minutes.)

Triton the Triceratops
1pm-4pm, Museum-wide
Enjoy photo opportunities with local performer Kevin Pittman in a special dinosaur costume created for Fernbank. Don’t forget your camera!
