Welcome to the Far East Project. As the name implies, we are an "asian music appreciation" meetup group that doesn't just cover j-pop, but many types of oriental music along the far east. This includes Korean, Chinese (Taiwanese, Cantonese, Shanghainese), Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Filipino, Indonesian, Malaysian, Singaporean, Mongolian, Lao, Cambodian, Burmese, East Timorese... did I forget anyone? Maybe we'll even throw in some Indian, Pacific Islander and Russian as a buffer.
