Let's Bring a Vertical Farm to Portland!
Inspired by the Vertical Farm Project (http://www.verticalfarm.com), this group meets to discuss strategies on getting the first Vertical Farm (multiple story hydroponic greenhouse) to Portland, OR.
We are looking for anyone interested in using innovative ideas to promote a revolutionary way of farming to Portland.
Let’s bring a sustainable system to our city to address the region’s population growth. One which efficiently utilizes land and water, produces year-round, and can be located in dense urban areas - producing food where the people are.
