Fashion insider and brand curator, Clare Tattersall, channels her passion for fashion into finding outstanding emerging designers and bringing their ideas to market. With an insider's knowledge of NYC's garment district and a knack for bringing the most talented people together, Clare is spearheading ThunderLily NYC — a fashion accelerator with a dual purpose: 1) to create cutting edge software for designers and 2) to provide stylish women with access to custom-made fashion from the most innovative designers of the future.

BELA SHEHU OF NINOBRAND

Confab with Bela about her dynamic approach to hacking fashion design and what she sees next for her designs.

Sourcing inspiration from literature, music, and design, local impresario Bela Shehu of NINObrand brings fresh and futuristic designs to Rittenhouse Square. In her sleek but comfortable studio, Bela does what can only be described as “hacking” fabrics for the human form. (Case in point: she can take what is normally used for car seats and see a comfortable breathable solution for sleeves.) Many of her pieces can be worn multiple ways, using the most basic of unpredictable technologies like magnets for buttons and zippers to create pleats.
