Open House: Philadelphia University Materials Evaluation Laboratory

Join Fashion|Tech|PHL for a visit to Philadelphia University's Materials Lab in Manayunk. Phila U's top notch faculty will take us through the industry technology used to create various types of textiles and materials. Also engage with members of the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC), an association providing test method development, quality control materials, education, and professional networking for a global audience.

About the Open House Series
This is the first of the Open House series where the Fashion|Tech|PHL group hits the road and visits creative spaces to see fashion and technology-related activities in action.

I unfortunately can't attend tonight, but it looks like such an interesting session on a really hot topic. Please update us with how it went!

I also wanted to invite anyone from the group to attend our event coming up on September 24, the Tech Trunk Show: How Technology Drives Fashion! More information here: http://www.meetup.com/TechinMotionPhilly/events/135776262/

Hey Nelly....It's back to school night at my daughter's school. Can't make it either. Shared the invite with the PAI staff. I hope someone can attend for us. This sounds really cool. Sorry about that!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
