"A sequel to the 1968 film Funny Girl (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Funny_Girl_(film)), it is a highly fictionalized account of the later life and career of comedienne Fanny Brice (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fanny_Brice) and her marriage to songwriter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Songwriter) and empresario Billy Rose (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_Rose). The screenplay was by Jay Presson Allen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay_Presson_Allen) and Arnold Schulman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arnold_Schulman), based on a story by Schulman. The primary score was by John Kander (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Kander) and Fred Ebb (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Ebb), whose first success as a team had been the song "My Coloring Book," which had been written for Kaye Ballard (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaye_Ballard), but was recorded by Streisand in 1962, who popularized it. It was directed by Herbert Ross (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbert_Ross)."

Bob Mackie (http://bobmackie.com/) and Ray Aghayan created 40 complete outfits for Barbra Streisand's character Fanny Brice. The job included the creation of not only 1930s-style dresses and suits, but also the hats, gloves, scarves and shoes.
