The Central District has seen many changes over the life of the neighborhood, and Union Street is set to see a great many more over the next two years. Join Feet First Board member and Central District resident John Stewart, local historian Rob Ketcherside, Quanlin Hu from Seattle Department of Planning and Development, Katie Porter from Capitol Hill Housing, Brie Gyncild from Seattle Neighborhood Greenways, Seattle Department of Transportation and others.
We'll talk about the parklet planned for 25th & Union, new development coming to the southeast corner of 24th & Union, Capitol Hill Housing's plans for the former bank building on the northwest corner of 24th & Union, Seattle Department of Planning and Developments's ACT project on 23rd, Seattle Department of Transportation's upcoming rebuild of 23rd, the planned Neighborhood Greenway to parallel 23rd, and end up at the TT Minor school building at the top of the hill.
