Refine your ability to move consciously, comfortably, and efficiently in this gentle, hour-long Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement class.

By moving slowly, deliberately and with curiosity, we have the opportunity to examine our sneakiest of movement and learning patterns. No prior experience necessary.

We will be spending a lot of time lying on the floor. Students are welcome to shift positions, sit, stand or walk around if they need to.

Frequent rests are encouraged, and students are asked to visualize movements if the action might cause discomfort or if that movement isn't available to them. Everyone benefits from movement visualization, so we will often practice this technique together during class.

People of all fitness levels, abilities, sizes and genders are welcome. The classes are verbally guided, and hands-on help is available for those who request it. Expect a safe, respectful place for you to explore ways to feel more at home in your body.
