What is your level of experience?

I have a BFA in Illustration (Art Institute of Boston) and an MFA in painting /drawing (Pratt).

What would you like to do in this group?

Simply to draw from a skilled group of models, which I know this group uses (have attended as a guest in the past)

what do you like best about figure drawing?

Even though my work rarely features the human figure, I find that attending regular figure drawing sessions is a necessary upkeep. The human figure informs every other aspect of drawing.

Would you also like to see meetups that include formal instruction and lessons?

Not particularly, but would not be against them if offered

I am a Brooklyn-based visual artist, originally from Boston. I make large scale charcoal drawings dealing with language and volumetric abstraction.
