FileMaker: Spring Forward and Looking Back

Details
It's April, and with the sun setting a little later, it makes for a perfect evening of FileMaker discussions, and maybe a little bit of software nostalgia. But then again, do we need a reason to meet and talk about FileMaker?
Chris Irvine of ThreeProng will kick off our evening with a talk about Value Lists, and straight forward patterns for utilizing them in your scripts.
I (Gerald Chang of Eight²) will be be talking about the FileMaker Go user experience. I'll show you a few examples, and talk about what makes a good mobile experience. But I'll start off with short demo of software nostalgia, and show you something from FileMaker's prehistoric past, that still has bearing in today's world (tease). Some will say I am Nuts for showing it, but it will be totally worth attending this meeting!
To closeout this meeting, David Weiner of MSNMedia will show us a Geolocation and Mapping module he's been working on.
This month's food and beverage sponsor is Chris Irvine of ThreeProng, Thanks Chris!
Parking is available in the Fred Meyer parking lot, we will have 15 parking permits available. Permits can be picked up at the Customer Service desk inside the store.
If you have something you'd like to share in future meetings or would like to sponsor the meeting's food and beverage, please email me directly (gerald@eight2.com). Don't forget reach out to people you haven't seen at the meeting recently and get them to join us, or bring someone new to the meeting! And please RSVP!
