Where financial startups, investors and professionals meet

Bruchim Habaim and Welcome to FinTechIsrael! Since it’s foundation in 1948, Israel has been a home of outstanding thinkers, innovators and dreamers.

Over the last 10+ years, Israel has become one of the global hubs for innovation, particularly in information security, semiconductors, and pharmaceuticals. Today, the startup space in Israel is substantially more diverse, with companies ranging from consumer internet to Cleantech.

One such emerging industry is financial innovation, made up of everything from payments to consumer security analysis tools to carbon trading. Over the last few months I’ve come across many such firms, with dynamic teams hoisting bleeding-edge technologies that can truly change the landscape of financial services. Coupled with our current economic crisis, we all know the time is ripe for change in this area.

That’s where we come in. We’ve created FinTechIsrael.com, a Facebook group, a LinkedIn group, a Meetup group and a Twitter account (FinTechIsrael), working towards the creation of an outpost for everything financial and innovative coming in and out of Israel.

Our hope is to build a network of startups, industry professionals and investors who meet up monthly and communicate frequently about happenings in the industry.
