FinTechIsrael! Is proud to bring you our inaugural event, held at the Recanati School of Business at Tel Aviv University on September 16th, 2009 starting at 6:30pm. The aim of FinTechIsrael! Is to connect entrepreneurs, industry professionals, investors, and students in a forum to discuss financial technology innovation in depth. Over the course of the year, we plan to hold regular events that will allow the group to explore in depth many of the key areas in financial technology, with the help of keynote speakers from industry, current startups and successful exits.

For the inaugural event, our keynote speaker will be Oded Zehavi, a payments veteran who currently resides with Bank Leumi in their international cards division. Mr. Zehavi will focus his remarks on current trends in the credit card industry, touching upon both technology and business elements.

Following his talk, we will invite three startups to present their business to Mr. Zehavi for feedback. Each startup will be given 8 minutes to present 3 slides that cover their objective, core technology, and current traction.
