Have you a story that needs to be told? A big event from your life? Do you want to explore how to plan it, write it, print it and sell it? Do you wish to know how to become an author, with a book for sale?

Anna Meryt, whose memoir recalling living in South Africa in the 1970s,

facilitates a workshop for those interested in exploring the possibility of writing their own story.

Topics will include:

What is memoir?

A memoir is a PART of your life – not the whole thing. It could cover weeks, months or a few years.

Your story.

It’s unique to you. Can you write about it in a way that will come alive for the reader? Can you learn the skills?

Truth and Lies.

What about the family taboos, the social taboos? How much truth should you/ could you/would you tell? Anna also runs longer course for those who decide to take the plunge!

Just bring paper and pens - or tablet!
