All The Right Moves: Putting your UIs In Motion

Details
Motion has meaning in UX design, so don't overlook the importance of good motion design to enhance the experience.
CSS animations are a powerful option to add design details to your work. When used well, motion can bring delightful moments to a user interface and improve interactions. In this session we’ll look at CSS in a whole new light and use it, to craft interactions that bring our web-based work to life.
Join us for ONLINE ONLY session with the amazing Val Head at an earlier than usual time so that our members and friends in distant lands can attend. :)
Val Head (http://www.twitter.com/vlh) is a designer obsessed with type and code. She speaks internationally at conferences and leads workshops on web design and creative coding. Every year she bring a swarm of web designers to Pittsburgh for Web Design Day (http://webdesignday.com/), the conference she co-founded. She is the managing editor of CreativeJS.com (http://www.creativejs.com/) and the author of the Pocket Guide to CSS Animations (http://www.fivesimplesteps.com/products/css-animations) from Five Simple Steps . Val tweets too much (http://www.twitter.com/vlh), occasionally dribbbles (http://dribbble.com/valhead), and blogs (http://www.valhead.com/) somewhat consistently.
