Just a quick reminder that we will be meeting on Tuesday, April 19 for a Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL) session at 7.00p PT. This meeting will also be broadcast over Connect for those attending remotely.
Please bring your laptop to follow along as Dave shows how to:
Scale objects using 9-Slice Scaling, Smart Resize, and sub-selecting nodes, Create simple designs for mobile devices (tablet and smartphone) that leverage scaling techniques, Set up Fireworks graphics for use in Flash Catalyst for a simple tablet demo, A few miscellaneous drawing and text techniques, And we'll try to leave some time for a few minutes of Q&A.
The sample files for working along will be available for download prior to the start of the meeting (we'll post the link in the Connect session) and on a USB key we can pass around for those attending in-person.
If you do not own CS5 please install the 30-day trial of Web Production CS5 from Adobe.com so you can follow along.
