FirefoxOS meetup group hackday!

FirefoxOS meetup group hackday!

Details

So after a bunch of awesome evening events, I'm happy to announce that the next Firefox OS meetup event is going to run ALL NIGHT LONG!

Things you will need to bring with you:

An abundance of enthusiasm for the open web and helping Firefox OS by creating something awesome

Firefox installed with the simulator add on (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/firefox-os-simulator/)

Your chosen IDE

If you want to start trying out writing an app check out Robert Nyman's Firefox OS boilerplate app (https://github.com/robnyman/Firefox-OS-Boilerplate-App), Ruth John's (http://twitter.com/rumyra) Pocket Kitten tutorial (http://12devsofxmas.co.uk/post/2012-12-27-day-2-lets-make-a-firefoxos-app) and http://buildingfirefoxos.com/

We will have experts from the Firefox OS team on hand to show you the ropes and get you started with the platform and how to get the most out of it and how to submit apps to the Mozilla Marketplace!

We're excited (and very thankful) that Mozilla is our sponsor once again so not only will you be able to code overnight you will have food too!
