The Firepit Minyan meets to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Passover in our own unorthodox Jewish way. We ask a lot of questions. Every once in a while we get an answer. We sing "Higher Ground" at Rosh Hashanah and observe Tashlich at Barking Springs. We find Torah wisdom in the works of Maimonides, Mel Brooks, and Monty Python. We believe Mah Tovu and "One Love" have a lot in common. We observe Passover as a raucous, messy celebration of freedom, with an orange on every seder plate and a mixed multitude at every table.

If this sounds like Judaism to you, come join us for our next event.
