First Thursday Book Club

 

If you love reading books and enjoy the intelligent discussions and diverse views of our eclectic group - do join us.

We are a group of readers who meet on the first Thursday of each month to engage in lively discussions on our love of books. Our subject interest is as diverse as our members spanning both fiction and nonfiction across all genres. Our reading list is created from members’ suggestions and we post them up to three months in advance.

We meet in variety of cafe venues, between 6.30 and 9.00-ish to listen, share and discuss whilst enjoying a coffee, a glass of wine, or something to eat.

This is a paid membership site and will suit those who want a smaller group of engaged and active participants. This one off fee of ten dollars pays meetup.com for hosting but it also identifies those who want to make new friendships through the love of books via regular monthly meet ups. You can pay in a variety of ways including at your first meeting.
