Children/Teen Cooking Classes

When: Fridays, 2 times a month, February 3, 17, March 16, 30, April 13, 27 & May 11, 25

Time: Ages 4-11: 4:30 – 6:00 pm Ages 12-17: 6:30 – 8:00 pm

Where: House Kitchen

Cost: $25 per class per person; Preregistration & payment required

Have your child join our cooking classes as they learn how to cook using whole foods. Empower your children with basic cooking skills and knowledge about vegetables and fruits while you have a Parent’s Night Out. Additional class topics will include breakfast, lunch, dinner, salads, soups and reduced sugar deserts. Your child will also learn about other cultures. Recipes & food samples will be sent home weekly. For the desert class, children will be asked to bring a pie pan and cheesecake pan from home, so that whole deserts can be taken home. Please note: Parents will be asked to volunteer one Friday during this 4 month time frame. Your child will attend that week for just food costs. Nursery is available for the first 4 toddlers & babies age 3 and under. Scholarships are available. Food allergies will be identified and honored in the recipes.
