This month's meetup has a different format since we are co-hosting with SAP Toastmasters. However we thought you would enjoy this event very much as you'll get to meet two Marketing Executives from SAP.
Come and hear two brilliant speeches by Reed Hornberger, (Global Vice President of ww Marketing Programs and Launches) and Dawn Crew (Vice President of Ecosystems and Routes Product Marketing).
Dawn Crew will honor us with an example of speech #9 on the CC Manual: "Persuade with Power" as she highlights SAP's Patient Engagement Solution, Care Circles.
Reed Hornberger will teach us a lesson on how to become better storytellers.
We will have two experienced Toastmasters provide detailed evaluations for improvement style.
We will end the session with a special holiday meet and greet as we enjoy hors d'oeuvres and beverages to welcome the holidays on a ceremonial note.
This event is open to all SAP employees, Marketers from First Thursdays Silicon Valley and Bay Area Toastmasters.

About Reed Hornberger:
As Group Vice President, Worldwide Marketing Programs and Launches, Reed works with sales, partner and marketing organizations to analyze oppor
tunity funnels across SAP’s worldwide business, and guide resources to mitigate changes in the pipeline. In addition to delivering pipeline knowledge and insight, Reed’s team develops global marketing programs targeting our buyer audiences to drive awareness and opportunities for SAP solutions. Reed reports to Jonathan Becher, SAP’s Chief Marketing Officer, and is a member of the SAP Marketing Leadership team.
Prior to taking his current role, Reed oversaw the integration, execution and performance of SAP BusinessObjects’ field marketing activities worldwide. He architected this new role and provided the primary point of integration for SAP Business Objects’ strategy and execution of worldwide marketing initiatives.
Reed joined SAP from its 2008 acquisition of Business Objects where he was Vice President Americas Region Marketing. Prior to Business Objects, he led the Americas region marketing organization at Sun Microsystems and held a variety of positions in strategic planning, business and solutions development. Reed started his career at Hewlett-Packard Company where he held positions in Sales Development, Product Marketing and Finance,

sizing for Corporate Survival while at Sun Microsystems. The book was published by Prentice-Hall, Sun Microsystems Press.
Reed holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
About Dawn Crew:
Dawn is Global Vice President, Marketing at SAP where she leads the solution marketing team for Ecosystem and Routes. Her team members are responsible for strategic messaging, positioning, and core content creation. Dawn has been at SAP since 2007 and has held both solution management and marketing roles since joining.
In 1995, Dawn co-founded Select Systems, a Microsoft reseller, consulting and development firm. There she managed sales and marketing, including product marketing, growing the firm from 3 to more than 70 people when it was acquired in 2002 by Tectura Corporation, Microsoft’s largest global business solutions partner.
Dawn has 3 children (Sam, Emily, Zach) ages 20,16 and 9 ~ and an Old English Sheepdog named Lulu. In her spare time she loves to travel, hang out with her family, watch movies and explore her newfound interest in photography.
