You want to take your photography to the next level, but you really don't understand the software required to really polish your digital images and make them look their best. You know that Adobe Photoshop Elements, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom are the industry standards, but they seem so complex and confusing.
This one day workshop on Adobe Lightroom is for you! We spend an entire day going over the basics of your program. If you haven't even purchased editing software yet, you can use the free 30 day trial that Adobe offers.
Each workshop concentrates on just one of Adobe's programs, so if you want to learn the basics of both Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop you'll need to attend two workshop.
The workshops cover the basics and topics covered include an introduction to the respective software interface, introduction to the basic tools, introduction to basic filters and an introduction to the basic steps of editing and enhancing photos. The instructor will also cover the basics of a workflow and will walk the students through all the steps from importing photos from the camera to outputting to print, web (including uploading to websites) and to flash/thumb drive or disc. This is also covered on the FREE DVD each student receives.
The one-day workshops are not a hands on experience (you may bring a notebook if you feel it will enhance your learning experience). The instructor will show the software on large screens and the student will follow along. Each student also receives at no charge a DVD with video tutorials, an ebook on the software and class notes as an aid after the class.
Lightroom students will learn each basic module, Library, Develop, Print and Web. The power of Lightroom for the beginning photographer will be demonstrated and included on the DVD they receive for free.
Lunch is around noon, and is only 30 to 45 minutes. There are several nearby restaurants, but you are urged to bring your own lunch, snacks and drinks. Limited power outlets are available in the classroom and computers are not required to take the class. If you do bring a computer it is recommended to bring a power strip as well. Note taking helps many students retain what they are learning, but is not required. Most of the class material is also on the DVD given each student. Note taking material is not provided or available in the classroom.
You can also save additional $$$$ by signing up for our one day Beginning Digital Photography Bootcamps. Contact FCCP by email FCCP_Director@me.com to register for both workshops. You can learn more about the bootcamps here. (http://www.flccp.org/pages/FCCP_Digital_Boot_Camp/)
