Cars & Coffee at duPont Registry

Have you ever seen $3 or $4 Million (or more) of autos parked in a row?  It's not uncommon to see a dozen Porcshes and a half dozen Ferraris parked in a row.  Throw in a few Shelby AC Cobras and many other examples of Detroit Iron from the '60's and '70's and you have a real car show.

Cars & Coffee happens the third Saturday of almost every month.  Join FCCP for this monthly event and get some great shots of Ferraris, Lotus', Lamborganis, Bentleys and probably even a Porsche or two.

This month their featured guests are:

-Zino Platinum
-Euro Cycles of Tampa Bay
-Hell's Bay Boatworks

They even have a photography contest and you can read more about it on their Facebook Page. FCCP will be doing this every month, but be sure to check the C&C site to make sure the event is on.

Nancy, I'll email you my cell number, but I don't know that area and won't be much help if you get lost. There's a Google Map link above, but from US 19 it's take Ulmerton East to 34th St N and turn Right or South and then take the first left, which is Tech Drive. I'm not sure if there's a road sign, but traffic is often backed up all the way to Ulmerton. Drive a few hundred yards until you see cars parked in the grass next to the road and park your car in the grass too. You should see someone directing the show cars to park next to the DR building and if Jeff's there, he'll be standing at that corner of the building. He usually doesn't arrive until right at 7 and a few minutes later we all wander different directions, since we're not all interested in the same types of cars. There are usually a few from the group who haven't signed up. The parking lot will be crowded with people and cars, so bring an appropriate lens. I don't, but some use tripods, filters and flash to reduce glare.

Thank you Jim, for all the advice too! I won't actually be "lost", I have tried to get there before, but apparently missed the turn, which I had to pass at least five times! I never saw the road. Hopefully I'll be able to see it this time, I double checked the map. We can walk right up to the cars, right, so we don't need a zoom? I won't carry a tripod around for this one, thank you.

Thanks Jim. I think the registration fee is for entrants and not for general admission? I'm planning to go to duPont Registry, hope I can find it this time. In case I am lost, is there anyone actually going who would share their phone number with me to guide me in the right direction, please? Thank you. Please click on my name and use the email function to private message me.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
