Trail Design and Construction Workshop, Dec. 31, 2013

This will be a TRAIL CLASS and construction training workshop! Part One: Powerpoint presentation on trail classes and design. Part Two: Field exercise developing several hundred feet of trail to Class 3 standards in the Titi Creek Section of the Florida National Scenic Trail on the Eglin Reservation. Participants will be using trail construction tools in the field exercise. This is an all day work activity! Participants should bring plenty of water and lunch. Tools will be provided. Work and meeting location vary with trail conditions. A $12 Recreation Permit is required when working or recreating on the Eglin Reservation.
