Tampa Bay Veg Fest Volunteer Meeting

This will be our second volunteer meeting for this years Veg Fest.  Less then 3 months now from Oct 19.  This is such a busy event with lots of planning and even more volunteers needed than ever. If you would like to help make this event a huge success please attend this meeting. We will be discussing volunteer opportunities to work on the day of.  Would you like to volunteer at one of the FVA booths?  For example--  “Paid-Per-View” tent is a challenge in which we invite people to watch a 4-minute segment of the 12-minute eye-opening MFA documentary Farm to Fridge, and afterwards they receive a dollar; free food (yum) sample tents and the very popular and busy FVA and Veg Fest tents?  Hand out flyers and programs the day of the event?  Work in the Children's Area?    Help to show films in the "cool" Tampa History Center?  Show vendors to their booth spaces the morning of?  Help us set up tables, chairs and tents?  We also need photographers and videographers.  There is something for everyone.  Please come to this meeting and meet like-minded people.  If you are not able to attend this meeting please call or send us an email to let us know of your interests.  This is such a Fun Veg Fest you will not want to miss any of it. Thanks!

I'll post this on the Animal Advocacy of Tampa Bay Meetup as well in hopes of getting a bigger crowd of people to help out with the Fest.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
