Tampa Bay Veg Fest Volunteer Meeting

Tampa Bay Veg Fest is fast approaching.  October 19 will be here soon and we are still in need of volunteers for this fantastic event.  Come and meet us at Vegan Take-Out on Busch Blvd. Sunday 9/22- 2 pm to 4 pm.  Pat the owner will have food for us to purchase for those who come with an appetite for some yummy vegan food.

This veg fest is run entirely by volunteers and there is so much to do. Wouldn't you like to be part of this event?  We are Tampa's one and only veg fest and this is very exciting for those of us who want to help animals in a really BIG way.

If you can't make this meeting call us at[masked] and we will get you plugged in to volunteer at this really fun event.

Thanks so much, Diane

The food was really good. I ate there & ordered take out. Met some new volunteers & filled some more slots. As Trevor said, we still need more volunteers to pull this off & make it the best Veg Fest yet.

Met some wonderful new volunteers who will help with VegFest. They'll be invaluable and we can always use some more help. Hint, Hint...

I was hoping to make it today, but have been sick since Friday morning. While I am certainly on the upswing now, I have been running in slow motion the last couple of days. If someone could email me later w details on what I need to know to help at Robert Cheeke's table, I would greatly appreciate it. I am hopeful his table is closeby to the speaker area bc I don't want to miss his presentation. If that's not the case, I would appreciate someone "guarding" the table during that short time, so I can step away. I am happy to do the same for someone else earlier in the day, if the timing works out. Thanks, and have fun today.

Due to last minute situation, Sue and I will be unable to make this meeting today. We have committed to concentrating on photography all day and can cover any booth for potty breaks (or whatever). If there is a followup meeting or additional instructions please let me know

Sorry, I can't make the meeting tomorrow, but I am already signed up for my shift and booth so I'm good to go. I am going to blast this on my FB page and among my contacts to try to get other volunteers and / or people to come out and enjoy the day! :D

Just a clarification about the meeting on 9/22 for TBVF Volunteers. Vegan Take Out is usually closed on Sundays, but they are opening just for us to meet. Plan to come hungry and support this great place! Note the time change: 1:30-3:30, If you can't get there till later, no worries, see you when you get there! :)

    THANKS! Myriam

I regret not to be able to volunteer at VegFest this October. I will be in South Korea for a Peace Corps volunteer reunion in Seoul. I intend to look into animal rights work when I am there.

I don't see "maybe" as an option, but that's what I am for now. I have two cat sitting jobs I can work around, but if I get hired for any more work that day, I won't be able to make it to the meeting.
