MetLife Earth Day Fair Tabling

MetLife is celebrating Earth Day by inviting organizations like FVA and environmentally friendly vendors to participate at their new location in Highwoods Preserve for their Earth Day Fair.  There are approx 1600 employees at this site.

Volunteers are needed to help with this tabling event.  Note that this is on a Tuesday, the official Earth Day.  Setup needs to be finished by 10am.

You may park temporarily in the visitor lot directly in front of Building IV – 18210.  Once parked, enter main glass doors to Security Desk.  They will issue you a visitor sticker and then direct you to the café rotunda area in Building II – 18206.  When you have unloaded your displays, etc., you will be required to relocate your vehicle to one of the main garages.  “Existing”  garage allows parking only on the top level only and is sometimes crowded.  “New” garage allows open parking on all floors – upper levels are usually empty

Please RSVP as soon as possible if you'd like to help.

Trevor: will you be there? Do you pamphlets with info on the environmental effects of veganism? How did FVA get invited to this event? Just asking because this is my office and I'll be in tomorrow. I may be able to help out. Let me know.

This looks interesting. Every year recently, I've done Earth Day events in Orlando, but I would be interested in considering local events much closer to home. But we would need to know several months in advance to consider the options, if that is possible. I'm actually doing a meet/greet at a Cape Canaveral health food store Tuesday...3 hours away. Maybe more of these could get organized/publicized in Tampa? Good luck with your event!
