Animal experimentation is a scandal that has been hidden from the American public. Animal experimentation is occurring right now at the University of South Florida. Learn more here: http://www.saenonline.org/media-20140924.html or here: http://tbo.com/news/education/usf-closes-research-project-over-poor-care-for-test-primates-20140924/ Animals such as pigs, hamsters, primates, cats, rabbits and more are used in cruel experiments. Please join FVA as we protest on behalf of Primate Liberation Week (October 11 - 19, 2014). For more information visit SAEN (Stop Animal Exploitation Now!) at http://www.saenonline.org/ .
Over 25 million animals suffer and die in U.S. laboratories every year. These innocent victims are subjected to addictive drugs, caustic chemicals, ionizing radiation, chemical and biological weapons, electric shock, deprivation of food and/or water, psychological torture and many other horrors.
This is the week when activists come together to make a difference for these animals. We want to raise public awareness of their plight. The animals are depending on each one of us to speak on their behalf.
Please join us Saturday, October 11 from 10 am to 12 pm.
We will be on the northeast corner of Bruce B. Downs Blvd. and West Holly Dr. (between Fletcher Ave. and Fowler Ave.) in front of the USF Health Center (across from the VA).
Please make your own sign and message for this protest. We will also bring extra signs. Bring water, hat and sun screen.
