    Mission of the club:
    1. A fun and friendly place for people to support and encourage each other to grow.
    2. Improve communication skills and leadership skills.

It was overwhelmingly successful - for our club's first meeting, 26 people showed up!

About half of the participants are from fellow Toastmasters clubs. Some people are experienced while some are just a few months new... they shared their skills and tips by conducting an impressive demo meeting and personal stories during the Q & A for people who are new to the Toastmasters. Strong positive energy floating in the air...

    Accomplished:
    1. 4 new members signed up on the spot (3 from Ooyala and 2 from community)
    2. 3 new club officers signed up and mentors assigned to help them get started
    3. 04/09/2013 meeting roles assigned, prepared speech signed up and mentor assigned.
    4. 04/16/2013 meeting prepared speech signed up
Meeting time changed from 7PM to 6:30 PM based on the participants' feedback

It was really nice to meet everyone tonight. Elaine's speech really struck an emotional cord with me, I truly enjoyed it. I'm so glad the Toastmaster shared his journey. I really found his particular path relevant and inspirational. I commend and aspire to emulate his breaking a big challenge (public speaking) into smaller, measurable goals.

Really looking forward to my involvement with this group.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
