What we’re about

HOPE - Homeschooling the Ozarks, Playing and Exploring = HOPEschooling

We LOVE homeschooling! We're doing it out of love for our children, a desire to enrich their lives and instill a love of learning, and hope for the future!

We will be holding weekly park days, field trips, holiday parties, educational days, and a variety of fun events in the surrounding areas. We are based in the Ozark area, but you never know where our adventures and thirst for knowledge will take us!

We do not require masks/vaccines at our group, but happily welcome everyone to do what they feel comfortable with for their family and will not discriminate against anyone based on masking/vaccine status or treat anyone disrespectfully. If you or your kids are sick, please stay home.

As an all-ages group, we welcome brand new babies up to older teens and we plan a variety of activities that will appeal to all ages, as well as some that are specific to particular age groups. We do ask that all older kids remember that they are influencing the younger crowd and that they behave appropriately. We do not allow cursing, name-calling, or destructive/disrespectful behavior at our events. We can share information on our favorite curriculum and our favorite homeschool classes while our kids have a chance to play and explore and learn together knowing that they are in a safe environment. If parents need to address issues with their kids, we ask that it is done so in a respectful way.

**WE MAY NOT AGREE ABOUT ALL THINGS POLITICS OR RELIGION OR OTHER BIG TOPICS, AND THAT IS OKAY! WE WANT OUR GROUP EVENTS TO BE HARMONIOUS, PEACEFUL, INCLUSIVE, AND FILLED WITH KINDNESS.** <br>

This group requires active in-person participation and support from its members to be successful. Families are expected to help in various ways - by setting up field trips, or hosting a learning activity, or opening up their homes/property for events, etc. WE ONLY ASK THAT YOUR FAMILY HOSTS ONE EVENT PER YEAR (by planning at least 1 event per year per family). This could be a park day in your area, or a farm day, or a craft/activity at park day, or whatever other things your family would enjoy doing with others. If you need help with hosting ideas, or the actual hosting, or ideas to make your event successful, talk to Emma.

If our group sounds like a good fit for you so far, please click above to join!! We look forward to meeting you and your homeschooling family soon!!

**Please note that you are joining the group of your own volition, and we are not liable for accidents, injuries, illnesses, etc. All attendance is at your own risk.**
