If you are like me and are trying to lose weight or maintain the weight you've lost, get or stay in shape, become more active and live a healthier lifestyle, then this is the group for you. I joined Weight Watchers about a 21 months ago and I've lost 25lbs so far. It's been a bumpy road but a fun one.
My aim for this group is to provide encouragement, support, helpful tips and most importantly friendship. The road to reaching a goal is sometimes a long one and who doesn't need a little encouragement along the way?
I do not work for Weight Watchers nor am I a nutritionist or dietitian, I'm just a person who wants to lose weight, get in shape and make some new friends.

I'd like to thank Carol for volunteering to be an organizer for this group. I expect that we'll have some truly great things to do in the near future. Things like Potluck dinners, hiking and weekly challenges. I've also been posting some of my favorite recipes on the message board. Try 'em out and let me know what you think of them! If you have recipes you'd like to share don't hesitate to post 'em.
I found a fabulous way to get my veggies in for the day and that is by having a bowl of soup for dinner or lunch. With the winter months fast approaching I've been digging through recipes and gearing up to make big pots of soup for those cold days ahead. I love to make a big pot of soup on the weekend and serve half for dinner and then freeze the rest for another day. Read more
