A Morning Walk in the Arb

We will walk 2-3 miles on paths throughout the park. This is a walk on paths and not a "hike" through off trail portions of the park. Please be on time. The group will only wait 5 minutes for latecomers.

Meet at the entrance to the Arb near the new UMICH CS Mott Children's hospital and the Ronald McDonald house. This is not the entrance near the ER of the main hospital.

Bring your camera. As the flowers bloom you can take some really nice pictures. The pictures shown here are actually mine.

FYI: Walk maybe canceled due to poor weather conditions.

Parking

There is a UMICH parking lot on your right as you are driving down Washington heights before you get to the Arb entrance (across form the Mary Markley dorm). After 5pm weekdays and on Saturday and Sunday parking is free in the section that is "blue parking". Do not park in the "gold parking" or in the Ronald McDonald House parking. If lot is full, then the hospital parking is a block north for a small fee. The street is one way so if you pass the lot before seeing the entrance to the Arb, just go around the block.
