I thought I'd start a thread to collect gleaning resources, since that seems the be a big interest.

The best one I know of for the area is: http://neighborhoodfr...­ It's an interactive map of publicly accessible fruit trees. It'll even show you what's in season in a given area.

http://foragesf.com/w...­ is intriguing - they're guided tours focusing on a certain food-type. I haven't gotten myself to shell out the money for one though, so I can't report on how good they are.

Also I just found http://www.mssf.org/c...­ while trying to re-find the links for the other two. They do free mushroom tours. We should totally get in on one of these!
