Have you been to drum circles before?

Just in class- fall '12. Before this, I rarely played the drum with any serious intent.

Do you have a drum - if not we will have some to share

Yes. I have two Conga drums

Do you like a little instruction or just drumming?

ThereS always time and room for instruction and education. Yes, the smaller the circle the better for someone like me, but sometimes you have to just find that pocket and go with it. I have been out of practice, but feel like it'll be like riding a bike. I would be grateful to join with others at my skill level if that is an option.

Do you like facilitation for specific rhythms or a more freestyle format?

It probably doesn't matter do much right now. Basic rhythms are likely better-because of my skill level and because I'd be a wider swathe if you will in meeting others.

If you're an experienced drummer - do you like to sometimes lead a rhythm or dance, or facilitate?

I have never been in a public drum circle. I took a drum class last Fall, but haven't really followed up on it. I've realized that a good step I'm moving forward through this is joining a group and immersing in that.
