Introduction Meetup - Informal Talk and Discussion Round

We'll have an introduction round and hear an informal talk about what Effective Altruism is. Whether you have long been involved or have just heard about it the first time, you're very welcome!
We love to discuss new ideas and answer questions.

What we want to talk about:
What is effective altruism? How can we do the most good in the world? Are there charities which do more good than others, and if so, which ones? What can I do in my everyday life, having only limited resources, to make the world as good a place as I can?
